11/dec - No updates, and that's it for 2010. It wasn't a good year ... for midis =P I'm making another 'christmas and new year trip' and still can't have my bedroom computer back, which means .. no last midi of 2010 ... or it means, the last one is World 4 on Forgotten Worlds, but ... I didn't have the time to complete this soundtrack, and things point to 'I won't have time in 2011 too' ... but ... who knows, anyway? Maybe I'll get my new computer and come back with full strength =P maybe I'll even win these 'battles or beauty contests of life' \o/ for now, the site will just remain the same, just now 8 years old, ... I still have requests to answer, sequences to make, midis to add here, compositions of 2005 to finish, and .. much more +D happy holidays for everyone, and thanks for passing by ^^ 5/aug - Updates: None, on the midis. ... some names on the Brazil page, for Turma da Mônica em O Resgate =P It's confirmed now, "Mind of Hero" is really the shore theme, there is no denying it anymore =P now, how can I spread this through the world? That could be a challenge, but I simply don't care about that ^^ fixed the little problem with Mega Drive's page, with that little detail on Fantasia music, and for now, I'm done here =P unless I have a computer in my bedroom, I can't do midis for a while .... I'll be back in the future, it can last two weeks, two months, two years, who can predict it? x_x with luck, I'll get a good job and be able to balance all things in my life and then do everything I like and even be happily ever after ...? Some say the world will end in 2012, so, no point on thinking about a long term future until this fact be prove wrong.. XD so long, I should say \o 29/mai - Updates: Fantasia midi now has OST name, and ...New Midis: Forgotten Worlds: 7 of them .. not 7 worlds, I mean 7 musics =P it's been more than 4 months already? Time is flying +_+ isn't this nice? Being able to create something, from scratch, from nothingness, and this creation being able to travel through the world and being listened to, in many countries, in many computers, by many people with many different hobbies ... well, that's simply one of the many features of MIDI sequencing anyway ^^ 18/jan - New Midis: just one: Fantasia: 1 music, that I still need to OSTize later =P updated the Earthworm Jim midi because it was bugging me somehow, and the composer Tommy Tallarico were missing, strange when a composer is missing ... +_+ actually, many composers are missing in Master System games, fact that make me believe that all games in the world should have credits screen, staff roll, or anything saying who did it ... "all they want is for us to memorize all of their names" XD back to the midi, Fantasia is a terrible game, one of the worst talking about playability and difficulty, frustrating and the musics (most of them) can be a little annoying even when arranged from the movie, ... the movie can give the information I still need to complete this midi, but again, the arranger will probably never be tracked out x_x 14/jan/2010 - First of all, happy new year, and second, my trip was alright, thanks =P New Midis: as I did have little time for midis (januarys, never trust them), I only did my first midi of this year: Earthworm Jim, the music that plays in the ending, and in some subbosses.. I was really upset when I tried to play the SNES version and the music didn't play against Jack Frost (if that thing on what the heck level really is jack frost, anyway) ... I have the Mega Drive game, and would never try the SNES version again ... xP well, one of my personal achievemnts is already achieved: OSTized all midis I could \o/ so, this update is really big, around 289 midis, including exactly those games with real OST names: Columns, Streets of Rage, Lemmings, Power Strike and Aleste, Ys, Sukeban Deka 2, Secret Command, Hellfire and Fire Shark, and more: I Kawaguchied all Miyauchi's work =P after all, he is still working with vgmusic, probably just re-re-releasing Afer Burner musics in another OST CD, I didn't listen to anything new from him, but... it's not like I was searching, I live in the past =P 28/dec - New Midis: EVEN bigger pack =P Mark III: 64 New Midis: BMX Trial - Alex Kidd (8, can't unsequence a midi, that Title Screen is part of Course1) ... Shinobi (8, and I still believe Yuzo Koshiro was involved) ... Galaxy Force (8, Beyond the Galaxy is really touching) ... Rastan (8, a little disappointed there was no new channels) ... Doki Doki Penguin Land (6, have you ever heard of Christmas Penguins? My country is really weird ) ... Juuouki (6, that's Altered Beast, you know) ... After Burner (6, who is the drummer of S.S.T. Band? This was painful to sequence, I want revenge +_+ oh, changed Miyauchi to Kawaguchi on the site, next year, updates inside midis) ... Thunder Blade (5, and the last one on Mark III for 'Games I had/have') ... Tri Formation (5, that's Zillion, which has anime tracks, I should try putting in the lyrics) =P ... Out Run (4, and I keep my fade outs) ... well, it's my turn to fade out, on another vacation, this time I'm going to one of the most dangerous places of the world... with any luck, these aren't my last midis ever, so wish me all the luck I can get @__@ ... last midi of 2009 is Out Run so, but I'll start 2010 with something more difficult =P and ... new goals for 2010: try some Sega Saturn music for midi sequencing \o/ maybe I won't do it because of the same problem of GBA and DS, but if I get my new computer, it will all be easier =P merry christmas with penguins, and have a great new year there \o\ 21/dec - New Midis: even bigger pack =P how about a new pack of FM? Well, december is always a great month for midi sequencing anyway xP ... Mark III: 61 New Midis: Alex Kidd - the Lost Stars (10), California Games (11), Chuka Taisen, Cloud Master (10), Double Dragon (9), Lord of Sword (10), and Megumi Rescue (11), ... and some updating on the PSG versions, all California Games, one Cloud Master, all Alex Kidd the Lost Stars, and After Burner... changing Miyauchi to Kawaguchi after this much time ... other midis composed by him will have to wait for me to reach them with Mark III project =P ... my next update shall complete all musics from Alex Kidd, Rastan and Shinobi for Master System, 100% =P I hope I can finish these new midis (that will get to 2600) before the trip and of course before 2010 +_+ just eight days until the day @__@ I'll be back in january 11, so I'll probably be back for midis ... about one week later, january is a really hot month here, and this doesn't help to midis, I get tired often +_+ you guys from the north hemisphere shouldn't worry about that, there is a nice cool winter coming for you +D looking forward to june/july ... the ideal months for sequencing =P 16/dec - New Midis: big pack =P Master System: Summer Games (last one that was missing on 'games I had'), Mega Drive: Chuck Rock, the 2500th midi \o/ Klax, most boring midi ever =P Altered Beast: the 2 musics that Master version doesn't have xP Battle Mania Daiginjou, 1 new midi so it's not empty there =P (actually I made this midi to see what I could do about the heavy metal guitars, I believe it can improve but I still don't have the know-how +_+') Ex-Ranza Beta version: 1 new midi, the jingle for Objective Clear is completely different on the beta version ^^' and 16 new midis for all Monster World games, completing all of their MS/MD soundtracks, ... I still want to have access to Game Gear's Wonder Boy but it's a little hard to come by now +_+ ... 1 update: Fatal Fury: new composers found, I just happened to let the game credits' composers there too, ... the more the better? XD maybe time will say who are the real only composers, .. it's easy to update these little bytes xP ... well, after so much difficulty with the last games, I will go back to easier music I should've made midi for a loooong time ago, so, it's Mark III's time now XD then I'll think about that DecapAttack request, it was old anyway, the requester can wait more xP 12/dec - New Midis: Streets of Rage, all I could track down for Master System and Game Gear =P that is 13 new midis on SoR1 and 16 on SoR2, 2 of these last being GGs because I didn't find these 2 musics in Master version =P New Updates: 6 of them on Mega's Streets of Rage, but only filenames, actually. Boss musics on SoR3 are now Boss1, Boss2 and so on, ... and the Game Over I sequenced in the past is now under Streets of Rage 1, and spreaded through other SoR games, because it's always the same music =P of course if someone begs they are somehow different, I can go deeper and see why, and maybe sequence the other versions... XD SoR on Master System is now to be underrated, the first game has fans at least ... the second is probably a lost cause, but the midis CAN be used in the future to be remixed on the Mega Drive's SoR2 soundtrack, I even used parts of Dreamer and SOR Super Mix to sequence the current midis =P 7/dec - New Midis: none... New Updates: all of Wonder Boy / Monster World midis =P with the OST from Shin'ichi Sakamoto I found, could simply upgrade all musics names, and if Shin'ichi says Mind of Hero is the song that plays in the beach/shore area, I believe him =P who would you believe in, a random screen in the ending credits of a game, or the actual words of the composer, who released a complete collection original soundtrack with the names? XD ... that sums up to 134 midi updates in the end, including Monster World IV, which has music parts that Shin'ichi composed... and I've upgraded all Wonder Boy 1 too... with one less unused, only didn't touch Wonder Boy 3 Monster Lair, because I still have to find the names for all tracks, instead of just one =P well, that was a good weekend for finding out new information ... I have the musics for Arcade's Monster World 1, but strangely, I'm not sequencing them that soon, just want to continue my S project for now =P still, I'm creating a new paradox on WB4 musics, so many people call the Adventure Zone 'mind of hero', how can we ever repair this? Maybe I'm wrong, and Shin'ichi forgot the names and released this OST with different names, ... but really, which music has the mind of hero feeling, the shore part, or the forest part? Heroes should lighten up and continue their journeys, or have a twisted confused difficult time? (I said this because I'm having a twisted confused difficult time, anyway) =P 2/dec - New Midis: Shining Force 2: 5 final midis, and 2 (possibly) last updates, which concludes an entire saga =P now I've got this strange addiction on statistics, if someone already saw the MIDIdata.txt I'm always breeding (yeah, breeding, LOL), you'll understand... even my percents are close to the real thing x_x well, about Shining Force 2, it's one of my favorite soundtracks on Mega Drive and all video games, even with the same ripped parts going together a little differently in all musics, and some rarely playing in the game, like Sad Join, which could be called Kazin Join (it's the only moment in the entire game Sad Join plays... I'm sure of this) and what game has its longest music being a town theme? That is really unusual, you have to admit it =P 29/nov - New Midis: Shining Force 2: 9 new midis, Street Fighter Champion Edition: 2 new midis, Steel Empire, 1 midi requested, and Castlevania Legends, one more finally, after so much time (it was requested) ... what else, updates: all Battle Mania (files were TrS1, now they are BMania1, all Castlevania Legends were updated with new email, Street Fighter SCE too. And Shining Force 2 isn't scarying me anymore, chances are I'll make the big conclusion tomorrow, even while searching for a job *currently unemployed* +_+ and washing the dishes *weekends are the rise of dirty dishes* @__@ but one thing is clear: looking at my 2005 midis (Battle Mania), I've seen that the techniques I tried back there are still being used in current midis, making some kind of signature ..? +_+ 2005 was a year of big soundtracks in midi for me, Pokemon G/S, Bomberman, Ys (FM), Mystic Defender, Out Run... and 2009, isn't much behind... =P my Hebereke midis, Wonder Boy Monster Lair, Shining Force 2, Super Monaco GP, Land of Illusion ... in the end they will all be remembered in a leveled way +D and both years are full of 1-or-2-track-sequences too, I feel like they are very alike years ... maybe it's a cycle, each 4 years the repetition starts again .. the world is always circling that big fire ball anyway .. things don't change... people change ..? XD 24/nov - New Midis: Shining Force 2: 16 of them, and Streets of Rage 2, 1 of them, ... well, I'll lose my internet connection in the next days, maybe for a long time, but if possible I will send new midis from time (chances are I'll have a lot of time for sequencing in december, but no internet to actually send the midis to the site...) so, Shining Force 2 is really giving me a lot of trouble as I predicted, and now I get this request for Stage 8 on Streets of Rage 2, which is extremely more difficult to sequence @___@ maybe I'll be rewarded in a far far away future for this, not that I need it, sometimes, I think my life is so easy, I don't have problem with starvation, I have a bed, I have a computer, isn't these alone better than 5 billion people living under this situation? I can't afford a new computer but some people can't afford the bed +_+ without the bed, I wouldn't have mood enough to sequence, that's for sure @__@ 3/out - New Midis: SNES: Super Bomberman 4: 5 musics... and 36 updates, related to my next project which is Shining Force 2, my PSG paradise XD no time to write much now, only can say ... my SNES midis are better than nothing =P maybe I should try to sequence Sega Saturn music in the future? ^^' ... did you know I use floppy disks to move the midis from my old pc (which has no internet connection) to my new pc (which has no sequencing program)? And ... did you know my Pages.zip is much bigger than the Midis.zip? Midis are really smaller when compressed o.o 25/set - New Midis: SNES: Super Bomberman 4: 7 musics. Long time to sequence complex music like these +_+ but bigger complexity is bigger achievement when it's done =P and who else in the world would sequence a complete soundtrack for this game? Many years have passed and there is only one single midi found, .. now there's almost all of them =P only 5 are missing, and if I can, I will do something =P you know, I was new at VGMusic in 2002, and the Master System section had around 45 midis, it was even smaller than the Game Gear collection (47?) ... and I was already a midi sequencer back there, my first 'playing arounds' with Cakewalk were much before, in 1996, when I was in the last years of school =P around 2001 I was already planning on some Game Boy midis, but I had this strong nostalgia on Master System, I hum these musics since my Master System crashed in 1999, ... so why Bomberman? The nostalgia points elsewhere, to every other console, SNES was a cousin's damn console with games I would never have in life, but I managed to know some games and Bomberman was just the best series on SNES that wasn't RPG =P the musics were so .. cute =P and VGMusic was my reference of what midis existed or not, ... so, Bomberman should have midis, not just the RPGs, look there, SNES, A to F ... and see for yourself, Final Fantasy 4-5-6, Chrono Trigger, ... SNES games with so much midis you get lost there, some musics have more than 3 names there =P it's so much easier for me to find rare games or soundtracks, I should be opening this world's eyes and sequencing what will increase variety \o/ ... to be continued XD 5/set - omg, I'm only 130 midis away of completing my 'games I have/had' project \o/ it's not like 130 Atari midis, quick jingles and jungles +_+ these are Mega Drive killers ... and Master System complete soundtracks (actually, the one I fear the most is Forgotten Worlds, extremely hard-to-sequence musics @___@) (and they need to be perfect so they can be used as base to Mega Drive Forgotten Worlds midis in future by me or other people @_____@) .. well =P New Midis: 10 of them, Super Columns, completed, they came out really easy, maybe having almost no percussion makes a soundtrack easier to sequence, but... Forgotten Worlds has a good number of non-percussion tracks too, it can vary x_x ok, what else... Mega Drive page has unnoticeable changes, and I will update Shining Force midis with the soundtrack names soon, probably right after my current project, which is in SNES page ... I won't back up this time, Bomberman \o they probably released Super Bomberman 4 very quickly (because of the repeated tracks from SBM3),.. in 1996 Mega and SNES were already falling and giving space to Playstation and Saturn, if I'm not mistaken ... but in Japan, Bomberman games continued being SNES beauties =P I should make a list of all the projects I have with midis x_x hm.. aside from my cartridge collection, there is Shining Force, Bomberman, Pokémon, Monster World (missing only 1 Game Gear game), Columns, Phantasy Star, Sonic, Alex Kidd, and Battle Mania, .. the main ones =P so much to do and so less to type =P 3/set - not liking the new font +_+ next time I'll probably change it xP New Midis: Mega Drive: 13 musics =P Sonic Spinball - The Machine (request & project, I've given up and started it twice), Spot Goes to Hollywod - Ship Hold (project), Stargate - In the Caves (project), Streets of Rage 2 - Dreamer (request), Super Volleyball - In Game (project, so simple I could do it all), Super Street Fighter - Dee Jay, and Cammy (project again).. and on Game Gear, Super Columns, the 6 other midis, ... project being obviously games I have/had =P still sticking to letter S, probably for a long time, unless I change my mind =P Next midi is 2400th, which will finally be a GG one, maybe the only one being a 100th,.. GG has so few games xP I didn't have Super Columns but.. I've always loved this series of games, and of course these midis belong to a different project: Columns Music on Master/Mega/GG =P 30/aug - Changed font to Trebuchet MS and did the new labels =P no new midis, but I was going to do some today, maybe tomorrow I will have the time \o/ ... well, if the font is strange or anything, let me know xP 28/aug - 17 New Midis: Master System: Super Monaco GP, 5 missing musics (and updated the other 7), Super Monaco GP II (Ayrton Senna's), all 6 musics, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, 3 musics, just to say I've sequenced something on the game I had, and same with 3 Sonic & Knuckles new midis =P it doesn't mean I didn't work hard on them... XD ... because I did ò_o even twice as the computer crashed making me lose an entire midi +_+ ... what else... changed file names, FZone -> FZone1, FZone2too -> FZoneToo, FZone3 -> FZoneM, Choplifter -> Choplift, and fixed all Batman games' midis with better credit for composers =P hope I didn't make mistakes, but if I did, it's easy to fix anyway ... xP 26/aug - 13 New Midis: Master System: Spider-Man vs The Kingpin, now complete, and Super Monaco GP, 7 midis, now incomplete =P added Spider to Game Gear page too, with a note to remember... someday I have to test this Nightmare Bonus thing on the GG version, so I can say if it exists or not... well, anyway. My list of near future midis is well defined and the next 50 are mostly soon to be done =P I hope I can get another day this week to continue the sequencing ^_^ 19/aug - New Midis: Master System: Star Wars, 12 musics, and Spider-Man vs The Kingpin, 4 musics for now, others coming soon ... well, I've done it now, it's one of the worst soundtracks ever, Spider-Man fans probably hate this game. Long long repetitive musics, annoying melody, .. and infinity as the channels don't loop at the same time in some musics. This Paul Hutchinson guy had the worst idea on a music (which is the Nightmare Bonus): make random effects happen each time the music loops, making it infinite and unpredictable... but whatever, I don't need to say how much time I spent in childhood playing this game trying to reach the final boss in the fastest 24 hours possible, even Jack Bauer would have a hard time doing it. Staw Wars is fine, and I'll probably find out who the composer is if there are credits on the Game Gear version, if I ever beat it anyway... projects: keep going with the S games I have, it's being mostly fun \o/ 14/aug - lucky me, it was a good day for sequencing =P new midis: 6, Master System section: Strider, 4 musics, and Shadow of the Beast, 2 musics. Nothing sure about composers, maybe a quick research on google will prove it wrong, but I don't care, it's easy to fix =P I don't know when I'll be doing the next midis, but.. may the force be with me on that one \o/ 13/aug - decided to merge all Master System letter pages into one big page =P cut out many links on My Links page, .. and no new midis for today, but tomorrow seems like a very good day to midi sequencing \o/ 12/aug - 10 new midis, for Athena, NES section, ...one of the best worst games ever =P well, best worst game ever is something that people never forget, right ... XD and 15 updates, for my ooold Shadow Dancer midis, Master System section, volumes added, notes fixed, mostly, I think it's worth to re-download them if you had them =P I hope I can sequence more this month, ... August were always a good month for sequencing, anyway \o/ 3/aug - 24 new midis, 2 updates =P see the NES new section for details xP not much to say, but Hebereke and Ufouria really have these differences in their soundtracks. I'll send only Hebereke to VGMusic, since they won't accept both, I think =P maybe they will, if I send them with a great amount of time between .. XD well, new projects: games on Mega Drive I have, which some still doesn't even exist in any format around internet (if google said it doesn't exist, most likely it really doesn't) =P 26/jul - Time is running so fast these days +_+ well, no new midis yet, just updating Brazil Hacks section.. I'll have to think of another way, because there are many names for the same games x_x and, there are original musics, but I don't think I will sequence them any soon, .. most people in Brazil just hate Tec Toy, and I'm no different =P 13/jul - I was going to update the site just after finishing with Hebereke, but then I had this terrible sunday where I only could sequence 2 of them. They're on the NES page, and I'll let you judge =P My first two midis for an entire different console's musics, it has a little more channels than Master System's PSGs, but maybe they're there for a similar reason to YM2413? No NES music I ever went to channel separating had more than 4 functional channels, but Hebe has 5 anyway, so ... it's all fuzzy to me =P the important thing is Hebereke's music anyway, not my fuzzy text +_+ 12/jul - 13 new midis again, and I'm very happy about them, because they are the conclusion of an entire saga, the Wonder Boy / Monster World soundtrack ^__^ well, it's not that I have sequenced EVERYTHING, there is a Game Gear Wonder Boy too, and the Arcades, and Amiga, and other consoles and PCs, but for Master System and Mega Drive, it's 100% complete, including Mark III's FM soundtracks =P well, I'm making a big, huge update on file names, so if any link doesn't work, help me fixing it =P I've taken notes on all the changes, so, there should be no problem in the end, ... (Invincibility is now Inv, Overworld -> World, Underwater -> Water, Congratulations -> Congrats, and Conversations -> Story, that's just the beginning of the list) shorter file names and still easy to understand are better \o/ well, new midis, right: Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair, Mega Drive ... I'm not happy with the file names for them yet, since WB3-Stage6 IS the second stage's music in the game, and WB3-Stage2 doesn't play at all (or maybe I'm losing a bonus stage entrance ???) oh, and other news: TWO new sections at once \o/ that only happened in the 2002 incident before O_o well, no new midis inside them, but.. the Brazil Hacks section is worth some looking, maybe just for brazilians,.. and I still have to go through a list of hacks to increase the page, ... and the NES section, it's mostly like MSX, I have to really like a game there to search more on a game and try to sequence some new midis ... I've put all the signs there, as they will be next, I don't want any empty section in here ò_o well, be happy =P 28/jun - 13 new midis, Master System's Michael Jackson's Moonwalker ... little tribute, one more =P oh, and fixed Nasubi references, as it was discovered that actually, she is Youko Wada (Yohko = Youko = Yôko and such) and lucky me I didn't do any sequence on her musics, yet =P well, trying to sequence once in a while, but it's being hard +_+ hopefully, I'll solve all my problems still this year \o/ I mean, not ALL the problems, just the ones that keep me away of sequencing xP 12/apr - 6 new midis, Deep Duck Trouble, Master System =P well, as I'm having trouble on other sections of life, for now, I can't say what I'll do next, it will depend a lot on the next month, ... but I'll probably sequence more this month, if I'm lucky +_+ new rule with the news page: only throw to older if the height exceeds the left side by a lot =P well, wish me luck, and wish me a happy Easter, cause I'm wishing all of you, happy Easter, and don't overchocolate yourselves, cause.. I already did it to myself and it was not good x_x 10/mar - 11 new midis, Deep Duck Trouble, Master System =P took some time, because these musics are deep, and troubling +_+ but soon I'll complete this soundtrack too =P 19/feb - 6 new midis for Deep Duck Trouble, Master System =P these musics are shorter but have more fading and quick notes, just like I predicted +_+ got lazy, I could have done a little more today >D but decided to just fulfill the request, ... there is another request in my list, so I'll continue from there tomorrow \o\ 18/feb - 10 new midis, Land of Illusion, Master System =P I'll continue with a Disney combo, now it's Donald Time =P I probably can't tie the "match", since Mickey has more games than Donald... there IS Legend of Illusion x_x well, 23 midis, they look simplier than these last ones, but they have a little more insane notes.. and quick short notes too +_+ no point on discussing it, the best strategy is start sequencing at once .. XD I'm so lucky to get requests on my actual current project ^^ and oh yeah =P I'm trying to reduce the banner on the left a little, .. xP 16/feb - 12 new midis for Land of Illusion, Master System =P I hope the requester likes them ^^ I'll complete Land of Illusion soundtrack next time, 22 musics aren't easy to sequence, you know... XD (oh, and they are Game Gear too, I'll update it later) 13/feb - New Midis on Master System sections A-F and G-Q, which are Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Batman Returns =P special from movies, .. focusing on games I've had, and seeing which of them exist in Game Gear too =P well, the year is being a little slow,.. but it will pace up later xP talking about movies, Batman Returns is very underrated after the release of The Dark Knight, ... I doubt they will try a new movie with Penguin as enemy so early, seeing how dark that 1992 movie still is... Batman Returns on Master System probably didn't have much problem on the development part, as it was reeased in the same year of the movie o_o even seeing that in my opinion, Motohiro's musics are very well done, he was just fond of Yuzo Koshiro's techniques on Sonic soundtrack, right +_+ Indy on other side was never an underrated movie, in my opinion, .. especially the third movie XD I was born on the year of Raiders of the Lost Ark, which movie was grossing best in YOUR year of birth? \o\ (wrote too much already) x_x 15/jan/2009 - I'm back from my trip =P only had time to do the first midi of 2009, which is on Mega Drive page, .. Ranger-X soundtrack, Stage 3 Boss \o/ I hope I will get the time to continue on my midi projects this month, even knowing from other years how january can be a bad year for sequencing +__+ well, need to fix this button that is making the menu on the left.. uglier >D ... MIDIdata indicates that 2008 was a really good year for midis, imagine if I had the entire year instead of just 3 months =D 20/dec - 18 new Midis =P check the new section, and.. merry christmas to all of you, and a joyful new year ^^ promises to next year: change this font, I'm tired of comic sans =_= sequence much more midis \o/ and maybe adding that picture to the index page, but I'm still not finding the right one ... XD I'll be back in the first week of january, probably straight to the midi program, but who knows =P I can only guarantee that I won't vanish for another 2 years again =P 17/dec - busy end of year,.. well, I'm one weak from a trip, so I'll be two weeks far from my site and from my own computer, but that doesn't mean 100% I won't be doing midis .. or planning something =P anyway, around hundreds of updates and 27 new Midis, Intellivision section, and since the trip will take the last days of the year, it will be hard to sequence a Last Midi of Year for 2008... @__@ but I'll try to use my free time these last days to come up with something \o/ ... enjoy =P Thunder Castle has simply the best soundtrack for an Intellivision game, I just can't record the musics well enough while playing, so these midis probably are a little incomplete +_+ maybe I'll be able to make them better in the future ._. 9/dec - another big number of updates, more than 100, including Golvellius, Power Strike / Aleste, Sonic 2 (again) and added a big number of music lists to aim in the future =P 10 new midis, on Wonder Boy in Monster World for Master System, .. and right now, I'm preferring to continue on midi sequences for games I had =P or something that goes Master System + Game Gear, .. maybe I'll link both of the ideas \o\ 8/dec - around... a hundred new midis and updates =P and the site should be doing 6 years on 7/dec, but since it moved, I'll spare him from feeling old XD ... at least 17 new midis, on Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos, and Wonder Boy in Monster World (which is just for Master System, but I've waited too long for this) >D more soon, and then I'll most probably aim games SMS/GG, especially those that has exactly the same soundtrack in both consoles =P right now, I feel like this year is being the best one for midi sequencing, maybe I'll start another project on Master System so I can aim those big Sega titles like Space Harrier, Golden Axe and Streets of Rage in the near future \o/ 5/dec - 4 new midis, for Game Gear section =P I'll first finish the midis for open games, and then re-decide what to do, these two weeks will have a lot of events in my real life, so I'll be sequencing these a little slow (if I wasn't, I would have done all of Sonic 2 and Chaos today) =P well, wish me luck, I guess... XD 4/dec - 25 new Inty midis, and 2 new Mega Drive midis, ... 1 update on an Odyssey Q-bert music, ... and well, with Atari, Inty and Ody projects all done, I can aim a much bigger one, that is Game Gear =P ... geez, I don't understand why Inty and Master System, two videogames that coexisted for some years, have so much differences in number of music tracks per game +_+ but anyway, there is SG-1000, SC-3000 and Colecovision between then that makes the evolution more clear, .. anyway, (oh god, I don't know how to write Colecovision) new midis coming soon \o/ 3/dec - Started a new section .. for Odyssey^2, another video game that is really old and I played in childhood =P added 9 midis there, and it's complete ^_^ ... 1 new Atari midi, for Squeeze Box,... gosh, as I said, only my cousins had Atari, so I'm never had the chance of getting good at these games, even today, I can play one random game and lose all my three of five lives without beating any level +_+ so, with Squeeze Box, I learned through a vgmusic midi that I could actually attempt to get out the box in this Squeeze Box game... and a different music plays =P so, ... I need your help! If you know of any Atari music that still isn't there, especially for a game already listed in my archive, let me know =P if you can record the music in any music format and send to me, I can make it into a midi through sequencing by ear ^_^ so, get these Atari games out of the closet, take out the spider webs from them, and play a little \o/ ... well, for now, I'll just have one more day to Intellivision midis, and then I'll be back to my mission .. or .... ... well, I shouldn't say it yet, but I've got access to a very interesting music on Game Gear, ... I hope I can sequence it soon, before everyone sees it, .. it's probably familiar to most people, as it's from a Sonic game =P see you soon XD 1/dec - 22 new Atari midis, covering C, D, F, P and V, the last letters of the project =P which means I'm mostly done, unless someone knows an Atari game with something that can be called music that is not there yet ... which probably exists x_x oh, 1 new Mega Drive midi, for Lemmings =P and... on Master System R-Z section, you can see that 2 of Sonic 2 unuseds are now used (of course I wouldn't know that by myself, I've never earned a continue nor got any Power Sneakers on Aqua Lake) ... maybe the last unused is used too, but only time can say it... XD well, new month and I'm not throwing all the content to oldnews.txt this time... I'll let two months pass from now on ^_^ 2100th is near now =P and I'm thinking... Game Gear \o/ Oh, and by the way I'm starting another old videogame weird project called =P ... "Odyssey music that can be called some things" .. just 7 short jingles found... +_+ well, enjoy your stay ^^ 30/nov - 32 new Atari midis, G, J, K, M, R all clean,... well, well, November 2008 was really a big month for MIDI making ^_^ hm... did you notice something? The pages now fit any kind of screen size, I hope so, and the layout changed a little around here =P you can see in the sections too, the navigation jump between midi pages =P hope I can deal with the other requests soon, but right now, just let me finish these Atari midis ... almost done =P 28/nov - 22 new Atari midis, finished with letters B, L, N, Q and S =P I wasn't going to sequence today, but got some free time =P and added a tagboard on the site for testing, if you want to say something, request, criticize, make a compliment, suggest a link, whatever, now you don't have to send an email \o/ (oh gosh ... can't fix it to the middle right now, I'll do it later) >D 27/nov - 5 new midis, fulfilling a request (I hope so, I really do) =P on Mickey Mania, Mega Drive.. now I can focus on my Atari project again.. other requests will have to wait. Unless of course, I've misunderstood something on this request... +D well, sequencing more than asked is never a problem, right? =P 26/nov - a big pack of updates, mostly composers, emails, and added to Game Gear current midis that they are Master System/Game Gear midis, and did some changing with archive names especially for Columns and Sonic, so the names don't cross on windows explorer... but I guess people when downloading midis, change their names to their own style ... well, if they don't, this update can be good =P next step: fulfilling my newest request, and after these, I'll go back to Atari, it's been paused for a long time already... XD and oh yeah! This one can get some people to think: changed WB3 midis to WB4 =P do you already know the reason? Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is the fourth on its series, so... this will keep me from having weird names when sequencing Wonder Boy 3: Monster Lair midis later... which I will, very cool final stage music, which is remixed on Wonder Boy in Monster World as Outer Space ^^ well, no new midis, you don't need to re-download anything anyway =P but I could use these new information for helping VGMusic.com organize their Master System/Game Gear music... they have separate archives for both, which makes some people send Sonic midis for one, and other send Sonic midis to the other, ... really annoying, to say the least +_+ 24/nov - 7 new midis, Master System sections =P more unused musics, .. actually, I realize the reason they were not used, but anyway, .. and 8 more updates, Alex Kidd in Shinobi World now has full level start music, and Rastan midis have their right composer .. which is Kazuyuki Oonui (or Ohnui, I prefer this way, double "o", it's more like the way I learned japanese, "oo" and "ou" aren't different if you talk about pronouncing, but they are different in their kanji meanings, and in american sites you see both of them "oh"-ed =P oh, I uploaded all my pages again, I'll see if there are more html little errors, like there was ^^' I think I'm going back to Atari for now, I'd like to finish the section as soon as possible \o/ I'll probably miss some games, because there are even more than I could ever predict @__@ 23/nov - 4 new midis, and finally completed Shining Force \o/ after so much time @__@ it's been two years, actually 3 or 4 if I consider the requests =P but I won't send them direct to vgmusic yet, just will wait until I have the OST names, to add to the midis, I didn't do anything about names there, just on the site,.. and well, started one more section =P and of course updated About Me, like .. cutting it in two =P not cut, actually.. split =P well, you all prefer just to listen to these new midis on Shining Force, it's the important news anyway.. enjoy .. XD 22/nov - got some time to do a little thing I always wanted to do =P a Game Gear section has just started \o/ .. only musics from same games of Master System for now... xP but the section will have new midis... someday =P I'm pretty surprised to see how bigger the known-composers-percentage of Game Gear games is compared to Master System... O_o 20/nov - 1 new midi, and 13 updates, on Renegade midis, Master System, the composer name, Kazuo Sawa =P I should update Rastan midis too, but now I'll focus on Shining Force and then sequence those last unused musics on Master System sections,.. most probably xP Atari and Inty are good ideas too, since I'm so close to really close their sections, making them complete =P 19/nov - 4 new midis from Shining Force =P I'm pretty close to the complete soundtrack now ^^ and oh, I spread the idea of "musics from the same game", spreading the asterisk around the entire site. Master System is the one with the greatest number of clone games, I think... xP 13/nov - Corrected all midis by Shin'ichi Sakamoto and Jun'ichi Masuda ... as the kanjis suggest that the sillabic separation is ju/shi-n-i-chi instead of shi ni chi,... and reduced the size of all pages with a little trick Maxim taught me =P I really appreciate it ^_^ oh, 2 new midis on Shining Force, next one will be the 2000th \o/ it will be special \o/\o/\o/\o/ and maybe the counter will be ready too... XD 12/nov - Well, the site is very different now =P nearly the same color, same design, same information, but now I have this entire midi collection online again, thanks to SMSPower.org ^__^
